The Toyota Sienna is a family-sized minivan that is built by Toyota in Princeton, Indiana. Four generations of the Toyota Sienna have been produced since 1997. Both the second and third generations received an overall "Good" score from the IIHS and a 4-star rating for frontal and side impacts from the NHTSA.[1]
The second generation of the Sienna was sold for the 2003 - 2010 model years with seating for 7 passengers and featured a 3.3L V6 from the start, which was later replaced by a 3.5L V6.[2] The third generation was sold for the 2011 - 2020 model years and is powered by the 3.5L V6 with 265 hp and still seats seven to eight passengers.[3] The fourth generation has been sold since the 2021 model year and is powered by a 2.5L four-cylinder engine with a hybrid system, with 245 hp.[4]
